Accessibility: Accessible Backend (technical)
TYPO3
Show in appDescription
Developing an accessible backend in TYPO3 is a constantly evolving process to enable all users, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, to manage a TYPO3 website in the future. Consultants have to know the current state of accessibility of the TYPO3 backend.
Goals
- I know about the current state of accessibility of the TYPO3 backend.
- I am aware of limitations imposed by the 3rd party library CKEditor v5.
- I understand that currently an accessibility statement for the TYPO3 backend does not exist.
- I can advise users to navigate through the main module menu and the help menu by using only their keyboard.
- I understand the significance of an accessible TYPO3 backend to ensure equal access and usability for all users.
- I know an Accessibility Team is working on improvements for the TYPO3 backend.
