Description

Understanding the purpose of metadata for websites and the possibilities of configuring and editing metadata. This skill involves knowledge of the principles, requirements, and best practices for ensuring the proper use of metadata for search engine optimization (SEO). 

Goals

  • I am aware of the two types of metadata and their purposes: HTML metadata and structured data. 
    I know about some important concepts related to website metadata like Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, Canonical URLs, etc.
    I understand that while some metadata can impact SEO, it's just one aspect of optimizing a site for online visibility.
