Description

A burpee is a full-body exercise that combines strength training and cardiovascular conditioning, making it an effective workout for building endurance, agility, and strength.  Burpees are often included in high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts and are effective for improving overall fitness, coordination, and strength across multiple muscle groups, including the chest, arms, legs, and core.

Goals

I can maintain proper burpee form
I keep my body aligned and engaged throughout the movement, ensuring I transition smoothly from the squat to the plank and back again.

I can perform each phase with control
I squat down, jump to the plank, do a push-up, jump back to my hands, and explode upward with precision and stability.

I can maintain a steady breathing pattern
I focus on my breathing, exhaling during the jump and push-up phases while inhaling during the recovery to improve my endurance.

I can recover quickly between sets
I manage my rest periods effectively, allowing my heart rate to stabilize so I can perform my next set with power and precision.
