JavaScript knowledge in the scope of "Media / Information Technology, year 1-3".

Goals

I know at least (see "Media / Information Technology  year 1-3" for details)

  • what JavaScript is and where it is being used
  • the difference between a client-side scripting language and a server-side scripting language
  • what ECMAScript 6 is
  • what an EventListener is

I can at least (see "Media / Information Technology  year 1-3" for details)

  • enumerate some of the advantages of ECMAScript 6 over previous versions
  • use EventListeners in my code
  • write simple JavaScript (variable assignments, functions, arrays, interaction with HTML elements etc.)
